| Working at heights courses Crucial |
Welcome to the blog about work at height . Yes! This platform
is dedicated to discuss various factors which involve safety measures in sync
with work at height – no matter what industry we are related with.
There might be questions or so-called raised eyebrows that
why I , being an IT guy , is interested in
writing about work at height related issues. I do not wish to hide
anything but as many of us listen so many news about mishaps like worker
suffers severe head injury in barn roof fall or some contractor fined for
ignoring safety risks & all that jazz. All these incidents made me aware
that there must be something related with proper training for safety of we
people when we work on height. I mean, we at times tend to be laid-back &
put the risk of falling down on back-burner by saying that , "it's ok,
this won't take long, I'll be fine."But we never know what future holds
for us. So, one wise step thought is a giant step towards our safety.
Can Work At Height Be Made Safer?
Yes ! Absolutely. If we consider our Australian viewpoint,
luckily there have been so many avenues. As more and more focus is required for
a safe Australia, we should always be agile when we managing the risk of falls
at workplaces. In Queensland, you can always get to know about regulations &
keep yourself updated about what government has thought about this concern.
Besides, there are some great Working at heights courses which safeguard our competency.
So ? What Next ?
The first post is about my intention to spread the concern
of this risky business. In the upcoming posts, I would be focussing on more
relevant How-Tos & Whys of the trade. I hope it makes some difference.
Let’s make a safer Australia!
